Individual donations

1 euro of private funding can mobilize up to 3-4 euros in co-funding. By way of example, your gift of €1000 may result in up to €4,000 going to a project. The projects supported by Acting for Life look to the long term, seeking to help the poorest people in developing countries to build a better future, whilst helping them to regain the dignity promised to every human being.

You may choose between projects depending on the themes and countries of greatest interest to you:

• You will receive regular reports on the projects you support.
• Your relationship with Acting for Life will be completely transparent.
• Our human-scale structure and low management costs (less than 6%) mean that resources can be concentrated on field projects.
• Your tax invoice enables you to deduct 66%* of your donations up to a maximum of 20% of your taxable income. If you give €1,000, you can deduct €660, so your gift will have cost you €340.
• If you are liable to wealth tax (ISF)*, Acting for Life can receive your donations via the Fondation ANBER, the Leclercq Mulliez family foundation, which is recognized as being in the public interest. Under the French law on work, employment and purchasing power (TEPA), there is a scheme whereby you may receive a tax reduction in respect of ISF equivalent to 75% of the amount of your donation up to an annual maximum of €50,000. In this case, if you make a donation by cheque, the latter must be made out to the order of Fondation ANBER, which will send you a tax invoice.

Legacies:

You can make a generous gesture of solidarity which will enable Groupe Développement, as it becomes Acting for Life , to continue supporting thousands of people and families in the most vulnerable countries.
Any of the assets in your estate can be bequeathed to Groupe Développement, now to be known as Acting for Life. You just have to approach your solicitor and mention it in your will.
